Ingredients

Chicken pieces 1/2 k.g

Table rice 1/2 k g

Ghee 1/2 cup

Garlic 1 pod

Ginger 1 piece

Clove 6 nos

Cardamom 6 nos

Cinnamon 3 pieces

Green chillis 4nos

Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

Mint leaves 5 grams

Big onion 2 nos

Tomato 2 nos

Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Cashew nuts 50 grams

Kismis 50 grams

Method

Crush clove cardamom , cinnamon , Ginger , garlic and green chillies . Cut onion in to small pieces. Heat a tava with a table spoon of oil and put onion pieces and tomato pieces. Stir well for some time. Add crushed items, chilly powder, turmeric powder and little ghee. Put chicken pieces and cook in low heat.Keep a pressure cooker on the stove and put rice and all other ingriedients and three cups of water. Cook for five minutes and add fried kismis and nuts. Decorate with mint leaves.

Cut big onion and four green chillies in to small round pieces. Add pieces of coriander leaves , lemon juice and salt. Yoghurt also can use with pulavu.
