Factory Outlet Shopping
Factory outlets are often part of the manufacture's old warehouse or factory, and furnishings are sparse. Credit and return policies are stricter than in retail stores. However the savings should make up for the lack of customer services.
Guidelines for factory outlets:
Go regularly to the outlet store of a manufacture whose goods you particularly like. If you are a frequent outlet, you'll learn the types of goods they have and how often they come in.
The best buys at a manufacturer's outlet will be its own goods. Irregulars can be a great buy if the flaws is fixable or unnoticeable.
Always check merchandise for quality. For example make sure plaids match at seams in skirts and shirts, seam allowances are generous and the material used in clothing and linens is not flawed.
