bones and skin of 1 turkey
1 chicken bouillon cube
2 tsp salt
12 peppercorns
4 whole cloves
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1/2 c chopped onion
1 c cubed potatoes
1 c sliced carrots
1 c sliced celery
1 10-oz pkg frozen baby lima beans
1 c uncooked noodles
2 c cut up turkey


Place bones and skin in large kettle; barely cover with cold water. Add bouillon cube, 1 tsp salt, peppercorns, cloves, chopped celery, chopped carrot, and 1/4 c onion; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover. Simmer for 2-3 hours, adding water as needed to keep ingredients covered. Strain broth; measure 2 quarts. Pour into large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add remaining onion and salt, and vegetables and noodles; simmer for 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add turkey; heat through. Yield: 6 servings.
