Homemade Taco Salad Recipe
This homemade taco salad is worth the extra time to prepare with a spicy and fresh taste
1 pound lean ground beef
1 Tbs black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 large diced onion
1 small can green chilies
1 can sliced black olives
1 pound shredded cheddar cheese
1 16 oz can refried beans
1/2 head chopped iceberg lettuce
16 oz salsa (or as desired)
2 diced ripend tomatoes
Cook the ground beef until browned in a large frying pan, stirring in the garlic powder and black pepper. Put aside when done.
In a large lazy suzan or several little bowls, put each remaining ingredient except the tortilla chips.
To serve, place the desired amount of chips onto a large place and then place in desired porportions, the remaining ingredients starting with the meat and beans and sprinkling the cheese on top next to the last, finishing off with sour cream.
This is a meal in itself and does't need to be served with anything else.
