1 1/2 quarts Strawberries
1 Cup Sugar
3 1/2 Tbl Cornstarch
2 Tbl Lemon juice

1. Wash, sort, cap, and core strawberries. Cut berries in halves or quarters. Set aside 15 as garnish.

2. Mash HALF the berries. Mix other ingredients with berries. Stirring often, cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until juice is clear. Allow to cool completely.

3. Arrange the uncooked berries (except garnish) in the cooked and cooled pie shell. Pour cooked berry mixture on top.

4. Top with whip cream and place garnish berries on top.

5. Enjoy!

Tip: You can prepare the ingredients ahead of time, but don't put the cooked berries into the crust until it's time to serve or the crust becomes soggy.
