Peach And Almond Tart Recipe
This nutty sweet, peach almond tart recipe is filled with canned and fresh peaches, sitting on a bed of ground almonds - a great dinner party dessert.
2 cups canned peaches, drained
2 fresh peaches, destoned and cut into wedges
1 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 x 9 inch unsweetened pastry case
Preheat oven to 325 F (160 C). Blind bake pastry case for 5 minutes only. Combine almonds and sweetened condensed milk in a bowl. Spread the almond mixture on the pastry case base. Pour on the peach and display in a pattern of choice. Bake in oven for 35 minutes or until pastry is golden. Serve hot or cold with cream or ice cream.
