1 recipe homemade corn bread
2 c day-old bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 c minced parsley
1 tbsp mixed herbs
1 lg onion, chopped
1/2 c melted margarine
1 c finely chopped celery
1 lg apple, chopped

Combine corn bread and bread crumbs in large bowl; sprinkle with salt, pepper, parsley and herbs. Cook onion in margarine for about 15 minutes. Stir onion mixture, celery and apple into bread mixture. Yield: 10-12 servings.
