In order to prepare your Chicken Stroganoff, you will need these materials:

- 4 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
- 1 stroganoff sauce packet
- 1 16oz. helping of egg noodles
- 1 16oz. helping of sour cream
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup white wine
- assorted seasonings (chili pepper, garlic powder and creole seasoning recommended)

*** additions/subtractions to above recipe are as follows:

- 2 chicken breasts for a more sauce-filled entree
- 1 cup of water for a thicker sauce
- 1 cup wine for a zestier taste
- no seasoning required

Cooking Instructions:

First, rinse your chicken breasts in cool water to remove any excess film. Lie flat in straining bowl after rinsing. Meanwhile, pour 1/2 cup white wine (Sutter Home Chardonnay is an equitable choice) into 32oz. casserole dish. Add your favorite seasonings into the dish at this time (a dash of teriyaki works wonders). Remove chicken from the strainer and knead on both sides with a fork.

Next, place chicken into casserole dish and flip over and over a few times to allow the sauce to seep into the kneaded holes. Cover casserole dish and let sit for as long as you wish to marinate (marinating is not necessary, but if allowed to sit refrigerated for 24 hours, the taste is amazing).

Now, remove chicken from the marinade and palce into a large pot. On medium setting, cook chicken for 45min (turning over every 10min to allow even cooking). When done, remove and cut chicken into stips as large or small as desired. Place chicken back into pot, add two cups water and stroganoff sauce packet. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 15min (assorted seasonings may be added here).

In another pot, begin boiling your egg noodles. Once they have reached a desirable consistency, strain the noodles and rinse off any extra starch.

Reduce the heat to low for the stroganoff sauce with chicken and add your 16oz. sour cream, stirring until the sauce is fluid with no lumps. Add the egg noodles to the sauce and stir well, keeping it over a low heat.

Let simmer for 10min and your chicken stroganoff in wine sauce is complete. Serves six.
