1/2 cup pecans, chopped
3 sticks butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract


Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Sprinkle pecans in a greased and floured 10-inch loaf pan. Cream butter and sugars. Mix in eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix milk, vanilla, and almond extract. Blend all mixtures together. Pour into pan and bake for 1 hour, 45 minutes.
