Never tasted a great brisket? Try the recipe below, it is tasty and easy to make.

4-5 lb. beef brisket
Can of tomato sauce
1 beef bouillion cube
garlic to taste
chopped onion to taste
carrots (3 or 4 large)

Trim some of the fat from the brisket, leaving a thin layer. Pour 1 inch of water in a large roasting pan and place brisket in the roasting pan. Pour tomato sauce on top and season with onion and garlic. Cut up carrots and place in the water. Also put bouillion in water. Cook at 350 for 3-4 hours, turning once. You will know that the brisket is done when it is brown throughout. (Unlike many roasts, you really do not want a pink center). Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. The bouillion should have made a nice gravy to pour over the top.

TIP: The leftovers taste great the next day as a sandwich with bbq sauce on top! Enjoy!
