Is there anyone out there these days who doesn't love salsa? Try this recipe the next time you have friends over, or whip up a batch for yourself. The salsa tastes great on steak, chicken or pork, or as a dip with tortilla chips.

You can make the salsa more or less spicy by altering the amount of jalapeno chiles you use. Experiment to see how you like it best. The recipe below makes a medium spicy salsa.

Mexican Salsa Dip:


7 fresh tomatoes, diced
2 onions, diced
5 cups crushed tomatoes
1 head of garlic, minced
1 cup of fresh cilantro, minced
4 marinated jalapeno chiles, seeded and minced.

Combine the ingrdients in a large bowl, adding the jalapeno chiles as you go along. Chill for 1 hour and serve.
