Are you tired of walking past your laundry hamper and thinking to yourself "Did something die in there?" I have the pefect solution. It is something my grandmother told my mother, and my mother told me, now I would like to share this information with you.

First of all, never put anything in your hamper that is covered in any type of oil, gas, or other combustable chemical, always wash these items by hand first or allow to soak over night.

All athletic clothing is best to be washed immediately after removal.

Try laying about 2 tablespoons full of baking soda in the middle layer of your dirty laundry. This will cut down a considerable amount on the smell. Also, place a dryer sheet in the bottom of your hamper. These are used to help absorb unwanted smells, sweat, and dust, all of which make for a nasty mess!

Always remember to do your laundry on a regular basis. Never let it pile up until you HAVE to do it. This is bad for causing odors as well!
