Every dog owner enjoys giving their pet a special treat and what better snack than home-made biscuits, baked with loving care in your own kitchen? Preparing a batch of dog biscuits is similar to making cookies, and in some cases, even simpler. In addition, these biscuits are generally cheaper than the store bought variety and will keep for weeks,
when properly stored.

Although all ages can enjoy this activity, mixing and baking a batch of biscuits can be a great children's project for a rainy day, or for a slumber party, where each youngster can take home a few samples for their own pet.

If you have a dog-lover friend or relative, home-made biscuits can make a truly unique gift for birthdays and Christmas. Here are some easy recipes which are sure to make you and your dog smile.
